The stones that Michael has to swallow for the future are bad things he’s done in his life. What he is specifically talking about here is he has to live with the things he’s done no matter what. He has to turn himself in and do the right thing to swallow this stone that he is choking on.

I think that louisiana passing a concealed weapons law was and was not wise because It wouldn’t matter if they banned guns all together or not. People that are going to kill other people are going to get guns the same way they have been which is illegally. Legal gun owners are less likely to kill people. Legal gun owners are ok for concealed weapons because more than likely they would only use it for self preservation or defense. It is not good that criminals can carry guns as well, they will most likely kill people or cause harm. Criminals with guns is not wise.

My standpoint on gun control is that guns are ok but, it depends who handles them. Legal gun owners are less likely to kill other people. Guns all should be kept in a safe and dry place away from children preferably in a lock box or gun safe. If only that were done there would be many less accidents.

The accidental death of Charlie Ward is still considered as manslaughter because was killed by another man. Whether it was an accident or not, it is still a death of one man caused by another which is why it is manslaughter. Michael Mackenzie’s reckless action of shooting his rifle, which is illegal in the first place, caused Charlie Ward’s death.

Cause and effect is when one thing that happens causes another thing to happen that would not of happened if the first thing didn’t happen. More than one person can be effected because more than one thing can be a result. An example being if a family that has a dad, mom, and a daughter. when the dad dies the mom and the daughter are sad because of their father’s death. A small cause can have a big effect.
